"Me considero un mutante, un ser que transmigra entre acciones y reacciones, que saca algo de su posición habitual, dislocándolo y convirtiéndolo en un símbolo, reflexión o códigos corporales que se mezclan con la calle, el callejón o todo espacio en el cual exista un flujo de seres divagantes absortos en su propia existencia. A ellos mi interés, por hacer que giren y se detengan, que dilaten sus pupilas para observar, reflexionar o repudiar. Trabajo con diversos materiales, plásticos, disfraces, máscaras, líquidos viscosos. Los usos para recrear diversas lecturas que ayuden a la compresión de la obra. Me interesa generar reacciones, cambios, reflexiones en torno a lo político, social y vivencial. Es ahí donde la pieza vive, respira, se muta cambiando de mente y de ojos del cual la ve y la contempla."

 

Orillas

 

La pieza se mezcla entre el sudor y la tierra, pies descalzos, una pala y una cubeta. Y todo el tiempo del mundo para intentar llegar. Es erróneo mirarla de una forma descriptiva, pues solo verás a un hombre moviendo un montículo de arena de atrás, hacia adelante. Pero es bastante lógico comprender el porqué de su empeño: Hacer algo que no tiene nada que ver con hacer. El montículo de arena funciona como una sociedad todo el cumulo de vivencias amorosas, laborales, sociales, sexuales y hasta políticas. Pues es rebelde políticamente no hacer nada para no tener que hacer algo. Es revolucionario transpirar sin la necesidad de entregar el esfuerzo al capitalismo.

"I consider myself a mutant, a being that transmigrates between actions and reactions, that takes something out of its usual position, dislocating it and turning it into a symbol, reflection or body codes that mix with the street, the alley or any space in which there is a flow of wandering beings absorbed in their own existence. To them my interest, to make them turn and stop, to dilate their pupils to observe, reflect or repudiate. I work with various materials, plastics, costumes, masks, viscous liquids. The uses to recreate different readings that help to understand the work. I am interested in generating reactions, changes, reflections on the political, social and experiential. It is there where the piece lives, breathes, mutates, changing the mind and eyes of the one who sees and contemplates it."

 

Orillas

 

The piece is mixed between sweat and earth, bare feet, a shovel and a bucket. And all the time in the world to try to get there. It is wrong to look at it in a descriptive way, because you will only see a man moving a mound of sand back and forth. But it is quite logical to understand the reason for his efforts: To do something that has nothing to do with doing. The mound of sand functions as a society, the whole accumulation of love, work, social, sexual and even political experiences. Well, it is politically rebellious to do nothing in order not to have to do something. It is revolutionary to sweat without the need to surrender the effort to capitalism.
