“Mis instalaciones nacen a partir de la metodología que he desarrollado en torno a la colaboración en el trabajo artístico. Hay algunos elementos que en general están presentes en mis trabajos, como lo es el carácter modular para lograr composiciones de gran formato, la preferencia por el papel y el MDF, y la utilización de pequeñas frases que aúnan el mensaje.

Creo en un sentir colectivo. Mi investigación nace a partir del proceso de duelo y de la confianza de que las sensaciones, sentimientos y miedos en torno a este, están también en otras personas. Siento necesario un coro de voces que me ayude a comunicar lo que siento, por esto hago convocatorias a través de redes sociales o de manera presencial, con preguntas o instrucciones en las que la gente participa y me hace llegar una respuesta. Despues de leerlas les doy una nueva forma, uniendolas y editandolas a mi manera, para finalmente llegar a mostrar un relato común que yo también sienta propio. Procuro generar un proceso creativo que sea respetuoso con las respuestas que me dan, mi materia prima, por lo que no puedo definir a priori los resultados finales. ”

“My installations stem from the methodology I have developed around collaboration in artistic work. There are some elements that are generally present in my work, such as the modular nature to achieve large-format compositions, a preference for paper and MDF, and the use of short phrases that bring together the message.

 

I believe in a collective sense. My research originates from the process of grief and the belief that the sensations, feelings, and fears surrounding it are also experienced by others. I feel the need for a chorus of voices to help me communicate what I feel, which is why I make calls through social media or in-person, with questions or instructions in which people participate and send me a response. After reading them, I give them a new form, connecting and editing them in my own way, to ultimately arrive at presenting a common narrative that I also feel as my own. I strive to generate a creative process that is respectful of the responses I receive, my raw material, so I cannot define the final results in advance.”
