Maria Luiza da Cunha Amorim es una artista visual nacida en 1993 en Florianópolis - SC, donde reside actualmente. Graduada en Diseño por el Instituto Federal de Santa Catarina (2018), tiene la fotografía como principal medio de expresión y la literatura, la historia y la creencia popular como motores de su producción, con un especial interés en la creación de publicaciones de artista. La atmósfera de su poética abarca cuestiones del sexo femenino, la ascendencia y el imaginario que constituye esta figura, abraza también el paisaje en sus obras más recientes.

Maria Luiza da Cunha Amorim is a visual artist born in 1993 in Florianópolis - SC, where she currently resides. Graduated in Design from the Federal Institute of Santa Catarina (2018), she has photography as her main means of expression and literature, history and popular belief as engines of her production, with a special interest in creating artist publications. The atmosphere of her poetics embraces issues of the female sex, ancestry and the imaginary that constitutes this figure, also embrace the landscape in his most recent works.
